The foreign policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the

United States of America have been analyzed at the "national
level and a macro methodology" of analysis has been
adopted."Idea" and "matter have been set apart and
ideology
has been defined as the "system" of ideas. In both foreign
policies, idea is prior to matter. Ideology comprises both what
exists" and "ought tos and not ought tos. Ideology is the
"reason" and the matter of national interests and security is
the
"cause". American foreign policy is steered by certain
principles which are congruent with the principles of political
Islamic jurisprudence in terms of methodology and framework
Both foreign policies are entirely ideological and ideology
serves as the "reason" and is analogous to the control room
ot
all models, strategies, and behaviors. American utopianism is
human-made while Iranian utopianism is God-made. This book
has critiqued the prevalent ideas of orientalism, positivism,
political realism, Marxism, postmodernism, and behaviorism
and claims to have raised a novel theory and paradigm.
